Sojourn Scripture, unhurried

Privacy

Your reading is yours alone.

Sojourn is built to be a quiet place to read and reflect. This page explains, plainly, what stays on your device, what we don’t collect, and the little we do.

Your words stay yours

We don’t keep the text of your conversations, and we don’t ask for your name, contacts, or location. We never sell your data, show you ads, or put third-party trackers in the app.

How Sojourn answers you

Sojourn is a guide, and answering you means sending your messages to an AI service that writes the reply. That text is used to respond in the moment. It is not saved to build a profile of you.

What we count

To keep Sojourn running and to learn what helps, we collect a little usage data: which features are used and the passages they involve (like peeking a verse or putting one into action), how long a conversation runs, and basic token, cost, and performance figures. This is tied to a random ID your device creates, not to your name, email, or anything personal. We use it only to run and improve Sojourn, never to advertise to you or follow you across other apps.

On your device

Your trail, your topics, and your reading history live on your device, under your control. Clear them anytime. Removing the app removes them.
